The whole world would surely be bare
      If there were not a single tree;
The singing birds might forget as well
      To sing a lovely melody

Trees give us their flowers and fruits,
      Medicine, and things made of wood;
They help minimize floods and droughts

      And give us shelter and enough food.

I wonder why we fail
To speak that loving word
To those we love the best,
To those who've seldom heard?
It's not what we intend
To be the least unkind;
It's just that we neglect
Or let it slip our mind,
How sad to think we'll wait
'Til friends have passed away
And then, too late, speak thoughts
We should have said today.

I wonder why we often spend
 Our gift of days complaining when
 We should be thankful to uor god
 For little things like rain and sun,
 The birds and trees ,the air and sun
 The carpet of the grass HE lays..
 If only we would realize
 How precious is GOD`s gift of days.

          Fight hard, work hard
          But when it's over,
          Be gracious in triumph
          Be gracious and sportsmanlike in defeat

In any game or contest
Some have to win
And some have to lose.
It is how you take
What comes to you
That matters.

Christmas is the day
When a child was born
In a manger lined with hay
One far-off, early morn.
Christmas is the day
We celebrate with joy,
At a giant birthday party
For the little Baby Boy.
And the gifts we give each other
Are the gifts we could have given
To the Child that was born on Christmas
So that all sins may be forgiven.

You never know when someone
May catch a dream from you
You never know when a quiet word
Or something that you do,

      May open up the window
      Of a mind that seeks the new.
      You never know when someone
      Ma y catch a dream from you.
